‘Cross a Lion and a Bear, you’d get one of the cutest looking dogs alive’. I’ve heard even the most seasoned professionals say this when the name Chow Chow pops to mind. Arguably one of the most versatile dog in terms of uses and popularity, Sigmund Freud always included his pet Chow to assist in psychotherapy sessions. Quite unfortunate is the other side of the paradigm for these dogs as many oriental cultures, especially the Chinese consider them to be a delicacy for their meat.

The only dog born with 44 teeth as opposed to 42 but that is the last concern seeing their temperament is quite unpredictable and not playful like most people look for in a dog.
